You can get to us via car, bicycle or public transport. The nearest train station is in Acle, approximately 5 miles away and it is then a short bus ride or taxi journey to the village. The campsite is approximately a 5 minute walk from the bus stop. Our location on The Broads is below. However we have put together some instructions on how to reach us, if you would like these written directions please click here.
Directions
From Norwich:
Leave Norwich on the A47 heading eastbound. At Acle, take the second exit onto the A1064 (Old Road). Continue on this road for approximately 2 miles, crossing over Acle Bridge. Take the first right-hand turning signposted Stokesby and Runham. Continue on this road for 2 miles and into the village of Stokesby. Proceed through the village, past the village green and village hall. Continue for approximately 0.5miles after the village hall and the campsite is located on the right-hand side.
From Yarmouth:
Leave Great Yarmouth heading north on A149 to Caister-on-Sea, follow the Caister Bypass to the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the A1064. At the next roundabout take the second exit, continuing on the A1064. Entering the village of Filby, take the first left-hand turning (opposite The Kings Head public house), onto Mautby Road. Continue on this road for approximately 3 miles into Runham. Leave the village, passing the church on the left-handside. Continue for 3 miles, past Hall Farm, Stokesby. The campsite can be found on the left-handside opposite Stokesby Church.
